Tounament

So, Tessa won the round in the YA Sisterhood tournament =) But tomorrow she takes on Clary.  I don't know how Cassandra is going to do it with both of her brainchildren in the finals.  I would be a total mess trying not to pick favorites.  I love Tessa and would be grateful if you would check back here: http://ya-sisterhood.blogspot.com/p/summer-crushin-tournament.html on the 6th and vote for Tessa; Clary has been around longer and has a bigger fan base, it would be great if the underdog could win!

YA Sisterhood Tournament of Heroines

At the moment I am completely hooked on Cassandra Clare's Infernal Devices series (Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince), it's got tons of fictional creatures, lots of action, some romance (may I say I'm team Jem ^^), and to top it all off, it's based in the late 1800s.  I could rant and rave for pages, but that's really not the point of this post.  The point is, if you've read the books and loved them, you have to go here:  http://ya-sisterhood.blogspot.com/2012/01/match-30-katniss-seed-2-vs-tessa-seed-3.html?m=1 and vote for Tessa in the YA Tournament of Heroines.  The tournament started with 32 of the most loved and strongest heroines, and is almost to the final two.   And since Cassandra is such a wonderful, interactive author, she has agreed to write a special snippet from Clockwork Prince if Tessa wins!  I, and most of Cassie's fans with me, would really appreciate it if you would take a few moments and vote for Tessa.

So...

I decided I'm going to make this a book (mostly young adult)/art-anything (recipes included) blog.  I have a feeling it will end up changing a lot and probably will take on a mind of it's own, but it will be spur-of-the-moment changes.
